Auburn Bay is one of several new residential developments in the southeastern outskirts of Calgary, Alberta. Neighborhoods bordering the new development include Cranston to the west, Seton to the south, Mahogany to the east, and Inverness to the north. Roads that make up its borders include 52 ST SE, Seton Boulevard, Deerfoot Trail, and Stoney Trail SE. Located on the city’s edges, the new community enjoys relative isolation from the city’s busier urban centers but still close enough where your daily drive is not a hassle. Similar to other communities in the region, Auburn Bay features an artificial lake centered around the community. Residents enjoy easy access to a vast collection of outdoor amenities, including a small beach next to the community’s recreation center. There are planned commercial sections in the suburb that provides convenient retail, dining, and entertainment options for families in the community. Residents also enjoy easy access to good schools and the South Health medical campus to the south.

Real Estate in Auburn Bay is a combination of single-family homes, attached townhouses, and small condominium buildings. The most expensive of these is the luxury lakefront homes in the center of the community. These properties are priced above the $1 million price point with four to five-bedroom semi-custom designs and 2,400 to 3,000 sqft of living space. More modest suburban cul de sac homes in the neighborhood are priced between $450,000 to $850,000. These homes come with three or four-bedroom layouts with 1,700 sqft to 2,400 sqft of floor space. What's Not To Love

Being on the south side of the City and with all of the additional development south of here over the last several years, commutes can be a little bit longer to get into the inner city. Particularly when it snows. With that said, Auburn Bay offers easy access to Stoney Trail, Calgary’s “ring road”. This is a good alternate route in times of traffic congestion and can get you to where you need to go!
